Short version: this site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. The little it does store in your browser is listed in full below.
1. Cookies this site sets for visitors
None. Browsing the public pages of NSFWBots sets no cookies at all. There is no advertising network, no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmap tool and no social media embed.
2. What is stored in your browser
Two values are kept in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, are never transmitted to the server, and are readable only by this site.

Both are exempt from prior consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), as implemented in Cyprus: they are strictly necessary to provide a function you explicitly asked for: confirming your age, and not being shown the same notice repeatedly. Neither is used to track you, and neither leaves your device.
3. How audience measurement works without cookies
Page views and outbound clicks are counted server-side. Instead of tagging your browser with an identifier, the server derives a one-way hash from a secret salt plus your IP address and user-agent, stores only that hash, and discards the IP. Nothing is written to your device, and the result cannot be used to follow you across other websites. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is recorded.
4. Administrative area
The private admin area at /admin sets authentication cookies (issued by Supabase) to keep the operator's session signed in. These are strictly necessary session cookies, they are only ever set for a signed-in administrator, and they are never set for ordinary visitors.
5. Third-party sites
When you follow a link to one of the services listed in this directory, you leave this site. That service sets its own cookies under its own policy, over which NSFWBots has no control and no visibility. Check its cookie and privacy notices when you arrive.
6. Controlling browser storage
You can clear or block local storage at any time through your browser settings, or by browsing in a private window. Clearing it simply means the age confirmation and the banner appear again on your next visit; nothing else on the site depends on it.
7. If this changes
Should tracking or advertising technology ever be introduced, this page will be updated and a genuine consent banner will be added, one that blocks those scripts until you opt in, and makes refusing exactly as easy as accepting. Your choice would then be recorded and re-requested periodically, in line with European supervisory-authority guidance.
